High quality, robust and efficient: TQM expands its fleet with more Kӧgel Mega semi-trailers

Czech transport and logistics service provider TQM is expanding its fleet. The internationally operating transport company has purchased ten more Kögel Mega semi-trailers for this purpose. TQM relies on Kögel semi-trailers primarily because of the high quality and long reliability of the vehicles, as well as their advantages in terms of transportation efficiency.
The Czech company TQM from Opava, which has been active on the market for more than 70 years and currently has almost 400 employees, is adding to its extensive fleet to meet the growing demand for transport services. The order for ten Kögel Mega semi-trailers was preceded by a needs analysis. "As a provider of transport and logistics services, we are faced with different requirements on a daily basis. It is important for us to provide our business partners with first-class transport services and at the same time make efficient use of the available cargo space. The Kögel Mega semi-trailers meet these requirements," explains Svatopluk Kříž, Director of the Truck Transport at TQM, and confirms, "Kögel is thus fulfilling its corporate promise 'Economy meets Ecology'."
According to Svatopluk Kříž, Mega semi-trailers can use three metres of load height without any restrictions along the entire load length. The clear interior height of Kögel Mega semi-trailers is three metres across the entire loading area thanks to the L-shaped roof strip profile, which is combined with a lifting roof and height adjustment. This is both to facilitate side loading and to adapt the vehicle height to the fifth wheel height. In addition, the ride height can be adjusted in five steps of 25 millimetres at the front and one step of 50 millimetres at the rear. This makes it possible, depending on the relevant national legal requirements, to drive with the usual fifth wheel heights for low-floor tractor-trailers.
Drivers confirm the high quality of Kögel Mega semi-trailers
In addition to their high practicality, Kögel semi-trailers also stand out for their high quality, long service life and low weight. This fact is also confirmed by the drivers of Mega tractor-trailers. "The response to the Kögel Mega semi-trailers has been universally positive," confirms the head of TQM's Truck Transport. In addition, all ten of TQM's new Mega semi-trailers with their striking yellow tarpaulin have high-quality, practical equipment. These include a jack on the first axle and a 720 millimetre long steel teardrop plate to protect the vehicle floor from damage by industrial trucks where the ramp crossing plate ends. There is also a galvanised steel plate to protect the standard aluminium nose against collision. Several toolboxes offer space for all the essentials and two so-called "Swedish spare wheel holders" allow easy access to the spare wheel.
The TQM Group operates its own Truck Service Centre in the Silesian region. It is also an authorised partner of Kögel and therefore part of the extensive European service network of the trailer manufacturer from Burtenbach, which now has around 1,000 partners.
