The management of the town of Valašské Meziříčí officially tested the new fleet of vehicles for the local public transport, which will be operated for the next 10 years by the company TQM - holding s.r.o. (hereinafter TQM). Modern ecological buses will hit the streets of the town, its local districts and also the adjacent villages of Poličná and Krhová on Sunday 12 June.
The town hall concluded a ten-year contract with TQM for the operation of public transport in Valašské Meziříčí and the adjacent municipalities of Poličná and Krhová. The city is counting on annual costs of CZK 21.3 million, with the aforementioned municipalities contributing nearly CZK 4.2 million to the operation.
The new fleet consists of nine standard "large" three-door buses with a length of 12 metres and a capacity of 25 seated passengers. These will be supplemented by one special minibus with a length of 9.5 metres and a capacity of 18 seated passengers, which is intended for the newly created circular line No. 10. The IVECO BUS buses were supplied to TQM by the authorised dealer of this brand, KAR group.
