TQM has made significant progress in the FUMO audit

TQM achieved an 80.25 % rating in the FUMO audit, increasing its previous year's result by 9.08 percentage points and securing its Green Carrier certificate, this time with a two-star award.

In comparison, TQM's result in 2023 was 71.17 % and 63.35 % in 2022. The participation in the audit is related to the fulfillment of business commitments for the Kaufland Czech Republic chain (products delivery).

The FUMO audit examines 171 criteria in three areas:

• Organisation and Control
• Fleet
• Offices and Administration

TQM made the biggest progress in the area of organisation and control. This is an improvement of 13.12 percentage points. A major role in this progress was played by the completed and ongoing investments in the operational area at the company's headquarters and the preparation of a project to install photovoltaics on the available facilities.

Better results for the fleet - an improvement of 5.5 percentage points can be attributed to repeated investments in the renewal and expansion of the company's fleet and professional truck transport management. During the reporting period, TQM also focused on improving processes for monitoring and evaluating efficient driving attributes.

Continued optimizations in energy consumption across the company improved the Office and Administration surveyed area score by 8.87 percentage points.

How did TQM manage such a significant progress?

The auditor's annual assessment is accompanied by a list of activities and recommendations that can improve the score in the coming period. TQM took these recommendations to heart and applied them step by step. In addition to these steps, the annual renewal and expansion of the fleet, the significant investment in the renovation of the operating area, the efficiency of truck transport management and the ongoing optimisation in energy consumption across the company are also helping TQM.
